Marathon For Missions 2010
The 2010 Marathon for Missions event is August 14th.
Start: Saturday, August 14th at 7 am ~ Entrance of Sakatah Trail by Casey's on State Hwy 13, Waterville, MN
End: Noon
Route: 15 miles on Sakatah Trail to Faribault
Lunch: Noon at First Baptist 14534 State Hwy 60, Waterville, MN

The first Marathon for Missions was organized by Jim Remiger. In 2006, Jim returned from a short term mission’s trip to Africa. Seeing the needs of orphan children, Jim organized the first marathon where individuals could walk, run, or bike for children in need. This has become an annual event and you can sponsor a Marathon in your local church, community or civic group. All proceeds are given to Children’s Opportunity Foundation.
