Bethesda Children's Home

COF is providing a safe loving atmosphere where orphans are loved and nurtured by trained and loving caregivers.
In May of 2005, Bethesda Children’s Home opened its door to five orphan children from the slums of Mumbai. They were brought to Irene Eda by a local Pastor. Admission to Bethesda is based on need and an application process is completed by Irene, our overseas director.
Bethesda Children’s Home sits on 12 acres of beautiful mountainous land located in a rural setting of India. It is a safe and open area for the children to live and attend school. The land is also home of a Bible College where young people are being trained for future ministry. We are committed to allowing these orphans to experience what a family is therefore we will strive to keep the size of our homes small. Each home will be staffed with house parents and a house mother. Boys and girls will be housed separately. Currently the children range in age from 3- 18. Once they come to Bethesda we are their family and they will live with us until they are ready to establish a home of their own.
