Every 15 seconds a child under 5 years old dies in India.
47% of children ages 0-5 are malnourished and 2.2 million die every year of preventable causes.

India is a land of many religions including Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism, and Christianity.
The great diversity of religion and language (1600 dialects), creates hindrances to communication, education, health care and economic stability for all the people, especially the poor.
Educational
1 out of 3 adults are illiterate
Only 1 in 3 girls goes to school
Due to the poor social, economic and physical status, 50-60 million children ages 6-11 or nearly 25% of the total child population are not attending school.
